ABACUS: SMALL ENOUGH TO JAIL

THE FILM

From acclaimed director Steve James (HOOP DREAMS,
THE INTERRUPTERS, LIFE ITSELF), ABACUS: SMALL ENOUGH TO JAIL tells the incredible story of the only U.S. bank that faced criminal charges in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis: a family-owned bank serving immigrants in Chinatown, New York. Charged with mortgage fraud, the Sung family vigorously defend themselves – and an entire community’s financial way of life – over several years in an underdog battle for justice.
